Krista K. Porter joined the Firm as a law clerk in 2018. Ms. Porter has since been authorized by the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court, Third Judicial Department to temporarily engage in supervised practice of law at The Towne Law Firm, P.C., pending her admission to the New York State Bar.
Ms. Porter received her J.D. from Albany Law School of Union University in 2020, and her B.A. in English and Political Science from The State University of New York at Buffalo in 2017.
While attending Albany Law, Ms. Porter completed a legal internship at The Justice Center’s in-house Health Law Clinic, assisting underprivileged clients with health care access, estate planning and securing public assistance benefits. Ms. Porter also participated in Albany Law’s Moot Court program, placing as a semifinalist in the Donna Jo Morse Client Counseling Competition. Additionally, she volunteered her time through Albany Law’s Pro Bono Society and was a member of Phi Alpha Delta, Rockefeller Chapter.
