Joseph A. Coticchio


Joseph A. Coticchio is an Associate at the Firm’s Albany office who focuses his practice on Labor and Employment Law, Litigation, Municipal Law and Real Estate Law.

Prior to joining The Towne Law Firm, P.C., Mr. Coticchio was an associate at another Capital District law firm where he practiced in the areas of civil litigation and municipal law.  His municipal experience includes serving as labor counsel for over 70 New York State municipalities.  In this position, Mr. Coticchio’s duties ranged from drafting legislation; handling regulatory, statutory, and constitutional compliance; employee discipline; litigation before the Public Employment Relations Board; and reviewing and responding to complaints under the NYS Division of Human Rights and the EEOC.

Additionally, Mr. Coticchio has experience reviewing commercial real estate leases, building and loan agreements, and preparing non-compete agreements, waivers, and collective bargaining agreements.
