Colin R. Boyle is a Partner at Towne, Ryan & Partners, P.C., representing businesses and individuals in New York and Massachusetts in a broad array of legal matters. He works closely with clients to help them achieve their goals through pragmatic, creative and effective legal strategy.
A significant aspect of his practice is labor and employment law, including traditional labor law, representing employers in negotiating collective bargaining agreements, navigating the grievance and arbitration process and litigating unfair labor practice charges.
Mr. Boyle also counsels and represents employers and individuals relative to hiring, discipline and discharge, claims of discrimination/harassment, labor relations, employee handbooks and personnel policies, and wage & hour matters. He also counsels regarding compliance with the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), paid family and medical leave, and other employee leave, as well as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and other state and federal laws.
Mr. Boyle also has extensive experience in transportation related matters, including expertise in the Railway Labor Act; appearing before numerous boards of adjustment on behalf of covered carriers.
Mr. Boyle also counsels and represents public school districts, housing authorities, quasi-public agencies, cities, towns and municipalities relative to all manner of legal matters.
Prior to joining Towne, Ryan & Partners, P.C., Mr. Boyle spent the last nine years with a well-known Boston labor and employment law firm.
