Albany, NY (January 2, 2013) – Towne, Ryan & Partners, P.C. is pleased to announce Dana K. Scalere has joined the firm as an associate, expanding the firm’s Labor and Employment Group. Ms. Scalere represents clients in a wide variety of labor and employment-related matters under federal law including Title VII (Race/Color/Religion/Sex/National Origin Discrimination), the Equal Pay Act (EPA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) as well as state laws, such as the NY Human Rights Law and Taylor Law. Ms. Scalere also provides advice and training on all workplace-related matters.

Ms. Scalere has previously represented the federal government in various labor arbitrations, adverse/disciplinary actions before the Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB), and discrimination cases before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). She also has past experience representing federal employees in collective bargaining negotiations and unfair labor practice grievances. Prior to joining Towne, Ryan & Partners, Ms. Scalere was an attorney in the Office of Chief Counsel at the Department of the Treasury in New York, NY.

Ms. Scalere received her J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law, where she was Managing Editor of Articles for Hofstra’s Labor and Employment Journal, and her B.S. from Georgetown University.
