Claudia A. Ryan
Founding firm member Claudia Ryan is recognized across New York State and the Region as a leader in the employment practices field and enjoys a long established reputation for success across a broad client base which includes several municipalities, school districts, automobile dealerships and other employers, large and small.
Ms. Ryan graduated from LeMoyne College with a B.A. in Political Science in 1976, cum laude and earned her J.D. from Albany Law School in 1979. She is admitted to the New York Bar and to the U.S. District Court in both the Northern and Southern Districts of N.Y.
Claudia belongs to the Defense Research Institute, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Tort, Insurance & Compensation Law Section of the NYS Bar Association (as a member of the executive committee), the NYS Women's Bar Association and the Albany County Bar Association. She has conducted trainings across the state in preventing harassment in the workplace and other related employment issues and has developed training materials for these various subjects for both public and private sector employers. Ms. Ryan was a partner in two highly successful litigation firms before creating Towne, Ryan & Partners, P.C. and brings considerable depth to the firm with demonstrated trial experience in all phases of defense litigation.
