Lucia Romeo has a broad range of experience in many areas of the law, including litigation, land use and development, zoning and appellate work. She has spearheaded development plans and obtained required permits for a 100 unit resort project, along with drafting Offering Plans for condominiums and fractional use ownership developments for submission to the New York State Attorney General's Office. Ms. Romeo has assisted clients with all aspects of project development from inception through completion including ensuring compliance with environmental review requirements, such as SEQRA, and applying for necessary governmental approvals. Additionally, Ms. Romeo has aided municipal entities in defending Article 78 actions and commencing eminent domain proceedings. She is also experienced in assisting business clients with their day-to-day needs, including: formation of new business entities; drafting and reviewing numerous contracts; and negotiating settlement agreements in lieu of litigation.
