For nearly 20 years, Jim Towne was an active member of the American Arbitration Association's Construction and Commercial Panels of Arbitrators. Jim sat as an arbitrator on numersous matters ranging from minor construction disputes to matters involving publicly traded entities where millions of dollars in damages were sought.
Tom Burke, who has devoted nearly 50 years of practice to construction litigation and arbitration matters, still assists the firm with various complex construction law matters. Tom's depth of experience is unmatched in the construction law field. Tom was lead counsel on the landmark Green Island Construction v. New York State case over the construction of Interstate I-88. Tom also represented Oneida County in its extensive multi-year arbitration matter involving the Oneida County Sewer District's county wide sewer replacement project.
